Okay so basically giving up junk food is a horrible idea! Especially when you have football practice after a long day and are dying for a decent snack full of carbs.
First day after my last post, I had to force myself to stray away from the Lays Potato Chips and steer towards and container of delicious almonds. They werent as pleasing at first, but one thing is for sure: I didnt feel fat and lazy haha!
Eating healthier definately makes you feel better about yourself! Try it sometime, its pretty hard but you'll enjoy it later. Grab an apple instead of apple pie :)

Death in the Wild
It was an ordinary day, good weather, didnt think anything would come up so I thought I'd go for a walk. I left the Ranger station around 11am and departed the small town of Utahville. Funny name I know, but its beautiful so why not?
I drove my 2005, 2 door jeep wrangler and parked near the entrance of a local mountain trail, the jeep's orange paint looked more worn than usual.
It was a trail I usually walked, it was thick with brush and some pine tress. After several trips. I knew a few get-aways with amazing views. One in particular had a great cliffside drop. I followed the thin. un-beaten path, the clear blue sky being partly blocked out. It opened up, and sure enough I was greeted with the great view and a light breeze.
I pulled out my canteen and chugged a couple mouthfuls of cool water along with a deep breathe of fresh air. I poured a quick stream onto the ground, intrigued at its winding path down the cliffside. I suddenly realized the alarming amount of flies in the area when I looked over the edge.
A young man slumped against the cliff face, about early twenties. His left leg looked mangled or broken. A strange buzz was in the back of my head, I immediately retrieved my radio and called in a medivac.

How are you doing? I’ve been hearing a lot from the others, and the last I saw you, you seemed a little off. Is everything alright? I know that things have been going on with Brett and yourself but what’s up with her getting engaged? I’m sure that the first thing you did was freak out and get depressed, but Robert you have got to get your stuff together! You’re a good guy and all but we’ve been friends for a while and I know you let this stuff get to you and don’t let it go. Yeah sure Brett is attractive, and nice and caring and whatever else you tell me but c’mon, you have got to know by now that she sleeps with every other guy she thinks is “special”. And this Michael guy, screw him Robert, he doesn’t care about anything just his little trophy wife so don’t pay attention to him, Jake has told me some things so I know what’s up. \You have got to grow a pair and just move on, forget them and find a nice girl that will actually care about you and only you. Stop following the pack and be your own man, I know you can do it pal, hang in there and let me know how it all goes when you guy s get back from the trip. Hope everything else is going smoothly and you have a great time. Like I said, find a gal, a REAL good gal and treat her right, all will work itself out if you just take control for once. I believe in you Robert, don’t let me down or yourself down.

Anticipation: Giving up snacks and treats
As many people may say, they love to snack! I personally love potato chips and other un healthy food choices including ice cream, candy, and even more chips.

The Meaning of Life in TSAR
Millions of people everyday, strive to find their place in the world and where to go in life. Ernest Hemingway captures this struggle through the life of several friends going around the world enjoying themselves in the novel, The Sun Also Rises. Post WW1, the world is left scarred by the horrific events that took thousands of lives and opened the eyes of citizens to a new world. Faced with the ideal of living life, and trying to enjoy every moment with new technology and events led many to party, gamble, and use an excess of alcohol.
Thus, Jake, Brett, Robert, and Bill only party, drink, and have sexual escapades. Night after night, they go out to town and have a wonderful time getting drunk, dancing and meeting new people. However they still yern for something more, something worth living for but none of them seem to know what that truly is. They are a disfuntional group of people who believe that they live for something but are masked by a cloak soaked in wine and liquor and they're drowning at the bottom of the bottle.
